Actus Actuarial Search is a highly respected organization within the Property & Casualty insurance industry, seeking an Actuarial Analyst. This role involves performing complex analytical projects, developing technical expertise, and contributing to strategic business decisions alongside experienced leaders. Responsibilities Perform actuarial analyses, modeling, and data interpretation using R, Excel, and other analytical tools Develop reports, presentations, and recommendations that support business strategy and decision-making Collaborate with peers and stakeholders, and other business teams on key initiatives Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders across the organization Support the development, validation, and enhancement of actuarial methodologies and models Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen analytical capabilities Maintain high standards of documentation, quality control, and regulatory compliance Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives that support business objectives Skills 2–5 years of Property & Casualty actuarial experience Progress toward CAS credentials, typically 3–6 exams completed Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Strong proficiency in Excel and R Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with Python, VBA, SAS, STATA, or similar analytical tools Familiarity with databases, reporting tools, and data management concepts Benefits Industry-leading compensation and benefits Strong support for professional development and actuarial exam progression Strong career elevation options near and long-term Company Overview Actus Search Group provides recruitment and talent acquisition services for actuarial and insurance industry roles.
