The DTE portfolio also includes non-utility businesses focused on industrial energy services, renewable natural gas, and energy marketing and trading.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br>* Collect, interpret, and analyse large, complex data sets using statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns.<br>* Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.<br>* Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources and maintain the integrity of our databases and data systems.<br>* Create and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualisations for management and other stakeholders.<br>* Collaborate with management and various departments to understand and prioritise business and information needs.<br>* Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.<br>* Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all data analysis and reporting.<br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br>* Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.<br>* Strong technical skills with proficiency in SQL and experience with reporting packages.<br>* Expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.<br>* Proficient in using statistical packages for analysing datasets (e.g., Python, R, SPSS).<br>* Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI is highly advantageous.<br>* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.<br>* A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is highly regarded.<br>* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely.<br><br><strong>Benefits</strong><br>* A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.<br>* The flexibility of a fully remote working arrangement.<br>* Significant opportunities for professional development and career progression within a large organisation.<br>* A collaborative and supportive international team culture.<br>* Generous annual leave allowance.</p>
