Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week (Facility may call off up to 6 times during the 13-week assignment)

Shift Options: Monday–Friday, 4x10-hour days (08:00–18:30) or 5x8-hour days

Daily Patient Load: ~11 patients (orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, neuro, lymphedema, pelvic health)

Weekend Coverage: As needed

Floating: May float to surrounding outpatient clinics

Qualifications (Outpatient Physical Therapist)
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience (preferred travel PT or hospital-based outpatient experience)
- Valid Arizona PT license or PT Compact privilege (required upon submission)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- Arizona fingerprint clearance card
- Manual therapy, dry needling, and wound care skills preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR/Cerner charting preferred
- Comfortable floating to nearby clinics as needed
- Two professional references (one from most recent employer within 1 year, one within 2 years)
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized outpatient treatment plans across orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, neurological rehab, lymphedema, and pelvic health
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy care as a travel physical therapist in a hospital-based ambulatory clinic
- Manage daily patient load efficiently while maintaining standards of care and patient satisfaction
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and adaptive devices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nursing, occupational therapy, social work) to support patient recovery
- Document patient evaluations, plans, and progress in Cerner EMR accurately and timely
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Float to other outpatient clinics in the region as assigned
