Here’s what we’re looking for. (Requirements)
5+ years of experience in customs compliance, import/export, logistics, or supply chain
Strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and customs processes
Experience with ERP systems or customs compliance platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume manufacturing setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry experience in manufacturing, renewable energy, solar, electronics, or semiconductors
Experience importing solar panels, batteries, inverters, or electrical components
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or related field
Certifications such as Licensed Customs Broker, CCS, or CES
Job Duties:
Manage daily import/export compliance activities and documentation
Review customs entries, HTS classifications, and duty rates for accuracy
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies (CBP)
Maintain import/export records, compliance databases, and tracking logs
Support post-entry corrections, audits, and tariff optimization initiatives
Develop and report on KPIs related to trade compliance and logistics performance
Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and Finance teams
Serve as internal subject matter expert on trade compliance regulations
