Description:

  • Partner with Engineering to design, test, and deploy ML and Generative AI tools that improve issue discovery, triage efficiency, and quality assurance.
  • Use AI-powered insights and triage signals to identify emerging on-road issue trends, new risk scenarios, and edge cases.
  • Develop and refine data-driven strategies for issue discovery and monitoring using ML model outputs.
  • Define and document policies, guidelines, and SOPs that integrate AI tools into vendor workflows.
  • Design and implement quality control processes for human and AI-generated outputs, including meta-quality checks and validation of vendor work.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Software Quality Operations and support adoption of AI/ML-driven quality processes.
  • Provide technical leadership to stakeholders, including issue escalation, requirements gathering for engineering, and user testing of new tooling features.
  • Scale workflows from 16/5 to 24/7 in coordination with external stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant work experience in QC or AV Software Quality Operations.
  • Experience supporting all phases of the machine learning development lifecycle, including data preparation, training, validation, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
  • Experience with ML testing and validation, including dataset quality assurance, bias detection, edge-case scenario testing, and performance evaluation using statistical metrics.
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement new concepts and use proprietary tools.
  • Strong understanding of driving rules and regulations.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining good judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to drive outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience working with offshore teams or multiple local operations hubs.
  • Preferred: competency in LLM/transformer models or ML experience in the robotics domain.
  • Preferred: basic SQL querying and PLX coding experience.
  • Preferred: experience using subject matter expertise for results analysis and direct customer consultation.
  • Preferred: self-motivated with basic task planning and time management skills.
  • Preferred: experience assessing AV safety performance.

Benefits:

  • Base salary range of $120,000 to $151,000 USD.
