Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Supervise day-to-day retail pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation.
  • Monitor opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift coverage.

Staff Supervision

  • Supervise, train, and support pharmacy assistants, cashiers, and sales staff.
  • Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.

Customer Service

  • Ensure high standards of customer service at all times.
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist customers with over-the-counter (OTC) product selection when required.
  • Promote customer loyalty and repeat business.

Inventory &

  • Stock Control

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering with suppliers.
  • Ensure proper storage of medicines and retail products.
  • Track expiry dates, manage damaged or expired stock, and reduce wastage.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.

Compliance &

  • Safety

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, health regulations, and company policies.
  • Support the pharmacist in maintaining legal and ethical pharmacy practices.
  • Ensure safe handling of medicines and restricted products.
  • Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in the store.

Sales &

  • Reporting

  • Monitor daily sales performance and assist in achieving sales targets.
  • Prepare basic reports on sales, stock, and staff attendance.
  • Support promotional activities and merchandising strategies.

Qualifications &

  • Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharmacy-related studies, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in retail pharmacy or healthcare retail, with supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of OTC products and retail pharmacy operations.
  • Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills (POS systems, inventory software, MS Office).
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
