Our Engineers use their knowledge and hands-on experience with networks and software engineering to deliver Professional Services automation for large scale projects with aggressive timelines.</p><p>Other things to know:</p><ul><li><p>Every team member gets onboarded via an online training course which includes a case study, live training sessions, lab and individual assignments</p></li><li><p>We are working in a multi-vendor environment</p></li><li><p>We collaborate closely with Professional Services engineers and architects on the customer side</p></li><li><p>The client is based in the US</p></li></ul><p>We work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project, if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.</p><h2> Your role</h2><p>As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li><p>Own and lead to a successful delivery of technical initiatives within the team</p></li><li><p>Use your network and network security expertise to develop and implement new features, as well as enhance and optimize existing functionalities</p></li><li><p>Innovate to drive continuous improvement and increase velocity</p></li><li><p>Operate within project-specific frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional team members</p></li><li><p>Partner with product owners to translate strategic objectives into actionable backlog items</p></li><li><p>Engage with end users to address feature requests and resolve reported issues</p></li><li><p>Formulate and enforce rigorous testing methodologies</p></li><li><p>Contribute to AI-driven software engineering processes</p></li></ul><h2>Do we have a match?</h2><p>As a Network Security and Automation Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:</p><ul><li><p>At least 7 years of relevant work experience</p></li><li><p>Very good understanding of network security principles and solutions (firewalls, SSE/SASE)</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls</p></li><li><p>Hands-on Python experience in projects related to network automation that goes beyond simple scripting</p></li><li><p>Networking/security vendor certification at minimum Professional level (at least one of CCNP, JNCIP, NSE4+, CCSE, PCNSE)</p></li><li><p>English language proficiency at B2 level or higher</p></li></ul><p>Beyond the criteria above, we would highly appreciate:</p><ul><li><p>Expert/Master level networking certification (CCIE, CCSM, NSE8 etc.)</p></li><li><p>Experience in software engineering</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of network security products from vendors like Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, ZScaler, Netskope, Juniper</p></li><li><p>Experience with Claude Code</p></li><li><p>Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines</p></li></ul><p>Proven ability to effectively collaborate within distributed teams</p><h2>More reasons to join us</h2><ul><li><p>Flexible working hours and approach to work: fully remotely, in the office or hybrid</p></li><li><p>Professional growth supported by internal training sessions and a training budget</p></li><li><p>Solid onboarding with a hands-on approach to give you an easy start</p></li><li><p>A great atmosphere among professionals who are passionate about their work</p></li><li><p>The ability to change the project you work on</p></li></ul>
