ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced sustainability professional to lead Group-wide environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting, compliance, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This role will be responsible in strengthening stakeholder engagement and awareness on sustainability matters.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO:
Lead the Sustainability Working Group and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ESG disclosures and effective programme implementation.
Drive sustainability reporting, audit-readiness, and compliance with evolving ESG regulations and standards.
Coordinate timely, complete and accurate ESG data submissions; manage ESG data systems to improve workflow efficiency and traceability.
Drive cross-functional ESG initiatives to achieve Group sustainability targets; track performance, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
Design, implement and evaluate CSR initiatives aligned with the Groups sustainability pillars; serve as focal point for community partners and stakeholders.
Develop and grow employee volunteering programmes, including campaign planning and participation tracking.
Perform other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
Qualification and experience:
Degree in Sustainability, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field. Professional certifications/training in sustainability/ESG (e.g. GRI, ISSB-related or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
Senior Manager: Minimum 10 years related experience in sustainability, ESG reporting or corporate strategy (public-listed or multinational environment); proven track record delivering sustainability initiatives; strong experience in sustainability reporting and ESG data management; property development exposure is an advantage.
Manager: Minimum 8 years related experience (public-listed or multinational environment) with hands-on ESG data management and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards (GRI, ISSB, Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guide).
Good understanding of GHG accounting, climate-related risks and opportunities, and ESG metrics.
Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills for sustainability and corporate reporting.
Strong project management and coordination skills; detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; high integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
Purpose-driven, proactive and solutions-oriented; adaptable in a fast-evolving regulatory environment.
