Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BAE Systems is looking for a Wargaming Instructional Designer to support a training program. The Wargaming Instructional Designer will work with a team to deliver an integrated technical training solution to the military customer, focusing on wargaming, training design, and modeling and simulation expertise. Responsibilities Design training syllabus for professional wargaming Develop training content and materials for professional wargaming education Research, learn, and play-test manual/tabletop and computer-assisted wargame systems Research and develop unit/equipment database Design and develop tactical and operational scenarios orders of battle, unit laydowns, unit taskings Play-test scenarios Support development of Technical and Operator Manuals for M&S scenario creation Support development of test cases for formal acceptance testing Participate in formal system acceptance testing Provide training and demonstrations Teach manual/tabletop and computer-assisted wargame systems Support Instructors in the setup and execution of training delivery to the customer Skills At least a Bachelor's degree in Military Science, Modeling and Simulations, History, Political Science, or related fields 8+ years experience in professional wargaming, military training design and development, military service, and/or military modeling and simulations Wargame design, development, employment Manual/table-top wargaming Computer-assisted wargaming Professional instructional design and course development Syllabus development Instructor and Student Guides Instructor training and guidance Modeling and Simulation for military end-users Multi-domain, aggregate combat models Research on military scenarios, orders of battle, system and equipment capabilities Technical writing Briefing development and presentation Experience working with military customers in wargaming, training, education, exercises, and planning Professional military wargaming Military training instruction Military instruction design Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings accounts A 401(k) savings plan Disability coverage Life and accident insurance An employee assistance program A legal plan Discounts on things like home, auto, and pet insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Paid parental leave Paid military leave Paid bereavement leave Any applicable federal and state sick leave Company recognition program to receive monetary or non-monetary recognition awards Other incentives may be available based on position level and/or job specifics Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for the employee assistance program Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for business travel accident insurance Temporary employees can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan Company Overview BAE Systems is an aerospace, defence, and information security company that provides advanced and technology-led solutions.
