The role involves managing various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations, and supporting cash management, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Responsibilities Conduct and manage accounting functions for our growing software firm Journal entries, accruals, A/R, A/P and account reconciliation Sales Tax and Payroll preparation Financial and SOC audit assistance Financial statement generation Cash management, budgeting and forecasting activities Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting Available 20-40 hours per week on a contract basis 3-5 years of accounting experience Experience with accounting software Experience creating and preparing financial statements Advanced Excel expertise required Excellent organizational skills Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship GAAP Proficiency Ability to prioritize and multitask Effective problem-solving skills Responsible individual with a strong work ethic and analytical mind to play a key administrative role Experience in SaaS, technology, or software company Well-developed oral and written communication skills A drive to continue learning, specifically about the energy business and W Energy software Benefits Flexible remote environment Company Overview In the dynamic world of the energy industry, success hinges on having a tech platform tailored to the unique demands of your operations.
