Plans, coordinates, and manages our Quality Assurance programs designed to ensure product compliance consistent with our customers’ requirements.</p><p><br></p><p>At DIAL, our core values guide everything we do: Do the Right Thing, Work Well with Others, Continuous Improvement, Make It Happen, and Delight the Customer. We’re looking for someone who can bring those values to life from day one.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u> </strong></p><p><br></p><p>·       Provide technical guidance on quality programs to all levels of management.</p><p>·       Create and maintain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions for the organization.</p><p>·       Utilize advanced statistical techniques to support a data driven process to reduce risk. Possess communication skills to present data findings and results professionally in layman’s terms.</p><p>·       Own companywide KPI’s to drive focused initiatives that eliminate waste and improve performance.</p><p>·       Maintain, review, and present Cost of Poor-Quality metrics monthly to leadership (commodities tracked as a % of Sales).</p><p>·       Oversee on-going efforts in maintaining our ISO/ IATF 16949:2016 QMS certifications.</p><p>·       Engage the organization to adapt and maintain a lean continuous improvement culture.</p><p>·       Perform Supplier Quality System Assessments</p><p>·       Facilitate Kaizen Events</p><p>·       Own all AIAG Core Tool deliverables including PPAP submissions (Part Submission Warrants), PFMEA/Control Plan management, SPC chart deployment, and Gage R&R/MSA studies across active production programs.</p><p>·       Manage customer-facing quality accountability: respond to customer SCARs and PPM notifications, lead containment and 8D corrective actions, maintain customer quality portal scorecards (GM, Stellantis, Flex, etc.).</p><p>·       Oversee incoming inspection processes, issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and maintain supplier quality scorecards.</p><p>·       Manage the calibration program and oversee measurement equipment including CMMs, gauges, and inspection tooling.</p><p>·       Participate in APQP activities to provide leadership in problem solving initiatives and maintain focus on customer quality requirements.</p><p>·       Interact with all personnel, who manage, perform and verify work affecting quality.</p><p>·       Carry out all organizational directives affecting product conformity, corrective action, and implementation of solutions to support Continuous Improvement initiatives.</p><p>·       Cooperates with management to formulate and establish company policy, operating procedures, and goals instilling quality mindedness throughout the organization.</p><p>·       Implements and evaluates educational programs and training to improve Quality audit results.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</u> </strong></p><p><br></p><p>·       Oversee technicians and quality engineers.</p><p>·       Support and assist with any floor personnel on product assessment and criteria.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Minimum of 4-year technical degree in science, engineering, or quality (or equivalent experience, i.e., 5-8 years related quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Tier I automotive supplier).</li><li>Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership, quality, and customer-oriented skills.</li><li>Proficient in problem solving – root cause analysis, 5-why, etc.</li><li>Knowledgeable in ISO / IATF16949 quality standards and Quality Operating Systems.</li><li>Knowledgeable in APQP methodologies.</li><li>Knowledgeable in Six-Sigma and Lean tools.</li><li>ISO9001:2015 / IATF16949:2016 Internal Auditor.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment on multiple projects.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees.</li><li>Possess strong skills in statistical methods.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills: verbal and written communication.</li><li>Strong computer skills –Windows based programs and Minitab.</li><li>Proficient in all AIAG Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.</li><li>Experience with ERP quality modules (NCMRs, inspection records, CAPA tracking) preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Join DIAL</strong></p><p>Founded in 1955, DIAL is a U.S.-based precision manufacturer specializing in metal stamping, plastic injection molding, insert molding, and assembly all under one roof. Our focus on quality, partnership, and manufacturing excellence has made us a trusted supplier to leading OEMs and Tier 1 manufacturers.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p><p>DIAL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
