Key responsibilities

  1. Manage procurement of raw materials (e.g. CPO, CPKO, RBDST) including contract follow-up, delivery coordination, and inventory tracking
  2. Ensure all incoming materials meet required specifications prior to acceptance and payment
  3. Monitor daily material positions and prepare monthly reports
  4. Oversee purchasing of spare parts, packaging materials, and lab/process chemicals
  5. Plan and execute purchasing strategies in line with company procedures and business needs
  6. Analyse market trends to ensure cost-effective sourcing and material availability
  7. Manage purchasing budgets and supplier performance
  8. Review specifications, evaluate suppliers, and support tendering processes
  9. Ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality and quantity requirements
  10. Handle supplier claims and provides cost/market analysis reports
  11. Support implementation and compliance of QHSE, Food Safety, and related management systems
  12. Drive continuous improvement, safety awareness, and training within the department

What we're looking for

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Prior experience in oleochemicals manufacturing or oil refinery is required
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE and Food Safety Management Systems
  • Experience in raw material (oil) procurement is highly preferred
