Duties

• Design and decorate cakes with intricate piping, fondant figures, floral arrangements, and other artistic techniques to meet customer specifications.
• Prepare cakes for display and sale, ensuring they are visually appealing and meet quality standards.
• Handle food production tasks including baking, frosting, and assembling cakes with precision and care.
• Package finished products securely for delivery or customer pickup, maintaining presentation quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Assist customers with cake selections, answer questions about decorating options, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Follow all food handling procedures, safety protocols, and kitchen guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or a related culinary field is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in food preparation, baking, and culinary techniques within the food industry.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, kitchen equipment, and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous experience working in bakeries, catering services, or restaurant environments is advantageous.
