A Portfolio Operations Manager position is currently open within the Commercial Real Estate Group (CREG) which involves evaluating, overseeing credit activities, and managing portfolios that include acquisition, value-add/bridge, and construction loans for all asset types.
Responsibilities:
Assist the RM in arranging, evaluating, and handling loans for non-owner-occupied commercial real estate in accordance with the Bank's established guidelines and policies.
Engage as the intermediary for the Relationship Manager in correspondence with clients, legal representatives, and internal business partners, enhancing operational efficiency and relationship management.
Inspecting and preparing preliminary appraisal documents, official loan authorization memorandums, alterations, yearly appraisements, and shifts in risk assessment.
The continuous management of portfolios involves overseeing financial statements, ensuring covenant adherence, and evaluating and modifying risk ratings when required.
Ensure that all operations are in line with the Bank's regulatory and credit requirements.
Carry out additional administrative tasks and specific projects to ensure the upkeep of a portfolio of clients.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or a combination of educational credentials and directly linked experience.
A desired qualification for this role is extensive experience in commercial banking, ranging from five to ten years, and at least two years of direct portfolio management in commercial real estate.
Strong underwriting understanding, Excel modeling proficiency, and effective business writing aptitude.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency in examining financial statements for individuals, businesses, and investment portfolios.
Possesses a thorough grasp of credit policy and procedures and can effectively assess the risk level of loans/credits.
Establish remedies for troubled loan credits.
Exhibits knowledge in treasury functions and derivative instruments, illustrating skill in aligning the Bank's resources to deliver impactful full-service solutions to the organization.
