<p><b>Description</b> </p> <div><strong>Job Title:</strong> Part-Time/Contract Medical Director (OBOT Program)</div><div> </div><div><strong>Location:</strong> Huber Heights, OH (Hybrid)</div><div> </div><div><strong>Position Type:</strong> Part-Time (10–15 hours per week)</div><div> </div><div><strong>Overview:</strong></div><div>We are seeking a hands-on Medical Director to lead and support our Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) program. This is a hybrid, part-time opportunity for a physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality addiction care and driving clinical excellence.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the OBOT program</li><li>Supervise Nurse Practitioners and other physicians</li><li>Collaborate with providers, administrative staff, and patients to ensure quality care delivery</li><li>Deliver guidance, feedback, and training to clinical staff</li><li>Implement and enforce standards of care and clinical protocols</li><li>Address performance concerns and ensure corrective actions are completed</li><li>Maintain active involvement in patient care as needed</li><li>Participate in occasional out-of-state travel</li><li>Must be familiar with and comfortable using EHR systems, Word, and Excel.</li></ul><div><strong>Schedule & Work Environment:</strong></div><ul><li>10–15 hours per week</li><li>Schedule determined collaboratively</li><li>Must be available during standard business hours</li><li>Hybrid role with required on-site clinic presence as needed</li></ul><div><strong>Qualifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Board Certified in Addiction Medicine or Psychiatry (both preferred)</li><li>Active Medical License and DEA Registration in the state of OH</li><li>Experience supervising advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs) preferred</li><li>Strong leadership and communication skills</li><li>Comfortable working with EHR systems and basic software (Word, Excel)</li></ul><div><strong>Compensation:</strong></div><ul><li>Starting at $150/hour, with higher rates based on experience</li></ul><div><strong>Ideal Candidate:</strong></div><div>We are looking for a proactive and engaged leader—not just an overseer—who is committed to improving patient outcomes and supporting clinical teams through direct involvement, mentorship, and accountability.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Here is what you can expect from us:</strong></div><div>AppleGate Recovery a progressive substance abuse treatment organization, is committed to the highest quality of patient care in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting.
