About the position As a Resource Planning Advisor, you will turn operational data into staffing strategies that improve performance, productivity, and service. You’ll forecast capacity, guide resource decisions, and partner with leaders to support growth with confidence. Candidates who reside within 50 miles of Bloomfield, CT, Chattanooga, TN, Denver, CO, St Louis, MO, and Scottsdale, AZ, may be asked to work in person. Responsibilities • Build and manage capacity models that forecast staffing needs across multiple operational teams and work types. • Analyze trends in volume, productivity, attrition, inventory, and related metrics to produce accurate monthly staffing forecasts and identify excess or shortfall risk. • Recommend strategies that improve workforce utilization, including hiring plans, skill conversion, up-training, and model enhancements. • Lead monthly reviews with business partners to share results, explain forecast changes, and align on actions that support operational and financial goals. • Contribute to planning discussions by offering insights, raising risks, and influencing decisions with clear, data-based recommendations. • Support change by building strong partnerships, challenging assumptions when needed, and helping leaders make informed planning decisions. Requirements • High School Diploma or G.E.D. • 5+ years of experience in advanced data analysis, workforce management, operational planning, or a related business function. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and the ability to work with complex datasets. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly and influence decisions across a matrix organization. • Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders and turn analysis into actionable business recommendations. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting deadlines. Nice-to-haves • Background in claims, back-office operations, or another high-volume operational environment. • Track record of process improvement and delivering measurable business results. • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, finance, or a related field.
