<p><b>Position Summary</b></p><p><br>Astreya is looking for a Network Engineer with experience in Infrastructure Space & Power Design. This role will be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering physical network infrastructure that enables reliable, scalable operations across global data center environments.</p><p><br>This role focuses on space planning, power and electrical systems, and end-to-end infrastructure delivery, from early requirements definition through commissioning and operational handoff.</p><p><br>This individual brings deep expertise in data center connectivity and network infrastructure design. The role partners cross-functionally with engineering, design, construction, and operations teams to ensure infrastructure solutions align with business objectives, technical standards, and long-term growth requirements.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><br>● Represent network infrastructure design and deployment requirements across global data center environments<br>● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, construction, and operations) to define and integrate space, power, cooling, and connectivity requirements into data center designs and standards<br>● Support the development and evolution of network infrastructure standards, technical references, and design processes<br>● Conduct construction administration and site visits; partner with architects, engineers, contractors, and construction teams to validate network builds against standards<br>● Provide guidance and education to design, construction, and operations teams to ensure alignment with design intent and minimize site-level deviations<br>● Support commissioning, provisioning, and operational readiness of network<br>infrastructure across global sites<br>● Drive strategic initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, innovation, and<br>standardization of network infrastructure<br>● Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and external vendors<br>● Support automation, tooling & AI initiatives to improve consistency, quality, and efficiency across infrastructure design and deployment</p><p></p><p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></p><p><br>● 5-7+ years of experience designing and deploying data center connectivity infrastructure<br>● Deep knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic systems, including design standards and installation best practices<br>● Working knowledge of fault-tolerant power and cooling architectures supporting high-availability environments<br>● General understanding of data center design, construction, and commissioning processes<br>● Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving large-scale infrastructure design efforts<br>● Strong problem-solving skills with ability to set strategic direction and execute tactically<br>● Working knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching), optical transport (DWDM, transceivers), and redundancy concepts<br>● Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and collaborate across teams<br>● Strong prioritization, multitasking, and communication skills</p><p></p><p><b>Education & Certifications</b></p><p><br>● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical<br>Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities, Infrastructure, or a related field.<br>● Professional Engineering (PE) license or relevant data center design certifications (preferred)<br>● Electrical safety certifications (e.g., NFPA, OSHA).<br>● Data center certifications (e.g., CDCP or equivalent).}</p><p></p><p><b>Additional Requirements</b></p><p><br>● Experience leading and managing matrixed technical teams<br>● Familiarity with data center facilities and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) infrastructure (e.g., BMS, DAS, WiFi, PTP, fire protection, physical security systems)<br>● Working knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems<br>● Experience with AutoDesk tools<br>● Familiarity with Linux-based systems and scripting/automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl)</p><p>● Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows and drive measurable advancements<br>● Flexibility to support off-hours work for critical cutovers, testing, or incident response<br>● Ability to travel for on-site surveys, construction walks, commissioning, and issue resolution as needed</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Salary Range</b></p>$132,240.00 - $208,800.00 USD (Salary)<ul><li><i>Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.</i></li><li><i>Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
