Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Navy Reserve Medical Officer across all medical specialties. The role involves providing high-quality medical care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and participating in training exercises. Additional responsibilities include patient care, surgical procedures (if applicable), and maintaining operational readiness to support Navy missions.

The role may involve virtual consultations and ongoing medical professional development.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Medicine and delivering comprehensive Patient Care
  • Experience in Surgical Procedures and specialized medical practices (as applicable to specialty)
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with Physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong Training skills to mentor and support the development of medical personnel
  • Commitment to service, adaptability, and ability to respond to diverse medical scenarios
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent degree
  • Board certification in a medical specialty (if applicable)
  • Eligibility to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserves, including meeting physical and background requirements
