Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 – $2,140 Arizona physical therapy jobs in a community with outdoor recreation and arts Position Type: Travel Physical Therapist / Outpatient Physical Therapist Hospital-Based Ambulatory Clinic (Outpatient Physical Therapy) Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week (Facility may call off up to 6 times during the 13-week assignment) Shift Options: Monday–Friday, 4x10-hour days (08:00–18:30) or 5x8-hour days Daily Patient Load: ~11 patients (orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, neuro, lymphedema, pelvic health) Weekend Coverage: As needed Floating: May float to surrounding outpatient clinics travel assignment benefits;
Qualifications (Outpatient Physical Therapist) Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience (preferred travel PT or hospital-based outpatient experience) Valid Arizona PT license or PT Compact privilege (required upon submission) Arizona fingerprint clearance card Manual therapy, dry needling, and wound care skills preferred Experience with Cerner EMR/Cerner charting preferred Comfortable floating to nearby clinics as needed Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized outpatient treatment plans across orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, neurological rehab, lymphedema, and pelvic health Deliver high-quality physical therapy care as a travel physical therapist in a hospital-based ambulatory clinic Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and adaptive devices Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nursing, occupational therapy, social work) to support patient recovery Document patient evaluations, plans, and progress in Cerner EMR accurately and timely Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Float to other outpatient clinics in the region as assigned Competitive travel PT weekly pay and guaranteed 40 hours/week (facility may call off up to 6 times during the 13-week assignment) Work in a hospital-based outpatient clinic with a diverse caseload for professional growth Experience Arizona physical therapy jobs in the beautiful Verde Valley—outdoor activities and local culture Supportive team environment and opportunities to expand skills (manual therapy, dry needling, wound care) Submit your resume, active AZ PT license (or Compact privilege), BLS, and references.
