We are seeking an experienced corporate communications professional to drive and coordinate the Group’s corporate communications strategy, safeguard the Group’s reputation, and ensure clear, consistent and credible messaging across stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO:
Safeguard and enhance corporate reputation, aligning business strategy, disclosures and external perception.
Develop and refine corporate narratives; translate business developments into compelling multi-channel messaging (media, reports, speeches, social, internal).
Serve as key liaison for media relations, agency partners and stakeholder engagements.
Partner with Branding to align brand expression and corporate messaging, with clear ownership of reputation and stakeholder communications.
Monitor and analyse communications effectiveness and media coverage; recommend improvements based on insights, trends and best practices.
Support corporate disclosures and reporting, including preparation and production of Annual Reports and Sustainability Reports.
Provide event support for key stakeholder engagements (e.g. AGM, investor engagements, CSR projects) and manage corporate collaterals/items with vendors.
Support issues and crisis communications (holding statements, Q&As, response strategies) and advise on reputational risks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
Qualification and experience:
Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or related field. Professional certifications/training in communications, media relations and/or sustainability reporting will be an added advantage.
Manager: 8 – 10 years in corporate communications and/or public relations (preferably listed company or complex multi-business organisation).
Assistant Manager: 5 – 7 years in corporate communications and/or public relations (preferably listed company or complex multi-business organisation).
Core competencies: Excellent writing and editorial skills; strong grasp of communications principles, media landscape and disclosure requirements.
Analytical & judgement: Ability to translate business/financial information into stakeholder-friendly narratives; sound judgement for sensitive and reputational matters.
Execution: Strong stakeholder management; high attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
Personal attributes: Accountable and professional; proactive and solutions-oriented; high integrity and discretion with confidential information.
