The transcription and annotation work will be performed using specially developed web-based software tools. Training on the software will be provided, but basic computer skills are required.</p><p></p><p>Tasks include:</p><ul><li><p>Performing verbatim transcription of speech recordings and correcting transcription output from automated speech recognition systems</p></li><li><p>Segmenting and labeling speech and text data with linguistic and research categories of interest</p></li><li><p>Completing training in working with human subjects' data in a social/behavioral research setting</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><b>This is a fully remote position and individuals must have their own computer.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications: </b>Basic computer and grammar skills required. Fluency in English language and solid knowledge of grammar is required. BA/BS degree is preferred but not required.
