Responsibilities include: Writing insightful and engaging film reviews, features, and critical essays that adhere to established journalistic standards and our client's unique voice. Covering major film festivals, industry events, and cultural happenings both locally and internationally, often requiring travel. Developing and pitching innovative story ideas that explore the intersection of film, art, and society. Leading a small team of arts contributors, providing editorial guidance, and ensuring high-quality output. Engaging with audiences through various platforms, including online comments sections, social media, and potential public speaking engagements. Collaborating with editorial, production, and marketing teams to ensure comprehensive and impactful coverage of the arts and entertainment landscape. Maintaining a broad knowledge base of current artistic movements, emerging artists, and significant cultural debates. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Film Studies, Journalism, Comparative Literature, Art History, or a related field.
