<p>Pretium Packaging is seeking a <strong>remote Key Account Manager (KAM) – Direct Accounts</strong> to lead strategic customer relationships, drive account growth, and win new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who enjoys balancing relationship management with business development while partnering cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<p><strong>Grow & Protect Existing Business</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of direct accounts while ensuring customer retention and profitability.</li>
<li>Expand business through upselling, cross-selling, SKU growth, and share of wallet opportunities.</li>
<li>Lead contract discussions and negotiations, including renewals and commercial agreements.</li>
<li>Identify and recover at-risk business opportunities.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Drive New Business Growth</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities aligned with company objectives.</li>
<li>Lead commercial discussions and support onboarding of new business.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Lead Customer Relationships</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary customer contact and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Cross-Functional Leadership</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Pricing, Quality, and Customer Service to deliver on customer expectations.</li>
<li>Drive alignment and execution across teams to support customer success.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, or related field</li>
<li><strong>5+ years of B2B sales and account management experience</strong> in packaging (rigid or flexible preferred) selling to customers in large CPGs or Private Label accounts.</li>
<li>Proven success building and growing customer relationships in major accounts.</li>
<li>Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills</li>
<li>Experience with <strong>Salesforce and Excel</strong></li>
<li>Ability to travel as needed (50% estimated)</li>
<li>Ideally located in the Midwest time zone and near a major airport.</li>
