Intern for Lab Department (Pure Chemistry)

• Receive, label and analyse chemical samples using titration methods.
• Handling sensitive equipment to analyse samples or substances and conduct tests reporting findings to a chemist.
• Execute laboratory testing according standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings.
• Conducting experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject quality of products using refined scientific methods.
• Organize and store all chemicals substances according to safety instructions.
• Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment (5S concept).
• To operate and maintain pollution control system which included IETS, Scrubber and Scheduled Waste Management.

Requirement

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Industrial Chemistry: 2 years (Preferred)
• Waste Water Management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Internship Duration: Minimum 12 weeks
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred due to business/communication needs
