Begin your career with American Airlines, a global leader and a founding member of the oneworld® alliance. We are seeking safety-focused, friendly, and reliable individuals for our entry-level Flight Attendant positions.
Core Responsibilities:
This is an entry-level position with 'no experience' required. Your primary role is to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers. You will perform pre-flight safety checks, conduct safety demonstrations, and deliver our 'Flagship' in-flight service. You will be a brand ambassador, representing American Airlines to the world.
Qualifications & Requirements:
We are looking for team players with a passion for service. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have the legal right to work in the United States. A valid passport for international travel is essential. A High School Diploma or GED is required. 2+ years of customer service experience is preferred.
Training & Work Schedule:
This role requires 100% flexibility. As an 'entry level' crew member, your schedule will be a variable reserve (on-call) roster that includes 'day shift' and 'night shift' flights, 'weekend' assignments, and all public holidays. Successful candidates will attend our comprehensive 8.5-week paid training program in Fort Worth, TX.
Compensation & Benefits:
American Airlines offers a competitive wage, with an estimated annual base from $38,000 to $60,000 (based on flight hours), plus per diem. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, profit sharing, and amazing travel privileges on American and oneworld partner airlines.
