Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a phase of rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum.<br><br>We serve as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and present it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents.<br><br>By integrating rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we assist organizations in transitioning from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability.<br><br>As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate.<br><br>Our growth is driven by the industry’s leading product and the continuous innovation of our customers - big and small, who use our platform to transform how developers work.<br><br><strong>About Your Day-to-Day:<br><br></strong>As a <strong>Field Marketing Manager </strong>, you will play a meaningful role in shaping how Port operates and scales within the European market.<br><br>You will work closely with the <strong>Demand Generation, Sales, and Customer Success teams</strong>, take ownership over <strong>the end-to-end USA events strategy</strong>, and help transform complex field marketing challenges into clear, structured outcomes that drive pipeline and brand authority.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Owning and executing the USA Event Strategy with independence and accountability, from large-scale conference sponsorships to bespoke, Port-only hosted events.</li><li>Collaborating with Sales and Head of Demand Gen to align event selection with regional lead and pipeline forecasts.</li><li>Turning ambiguity into structured processes regarding venue selection, vendor management, and target audience identification for new regional markets.</li><li>Driving high-quality execution of lead management workflows, ensuring quality context is delivered to sales teams with speed and precision.</li><li>Communicating clearly and documenting decisions through rigorous reporting on ROI, KPIs, and post-event analysis.</li><li>Continuously improving event standards, testing new engagement formats, and optimizing the "pre/during/post" activity playbook.</li><li>Partnering with external vendors and third-party organizers to secure premium sponsorships and ensure seamless execution of the USA activity calendar.<br><br></li></ul><strong>How Success Will Look Like:<br><br></strong>Success in this role means becoming a trusted, reliable contributor who brings clarity and stability to our international growth efforts.<br><br><strong>Within the first months, you are expected to:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Take full ownership of the US event calendar and operate independently with third-party vendors.</li><li>Deliver consistent, high-quality event experiences that meet or exceed pipeline generation targets.</li><li>Proactively identify gaps in the current regional strategy and recommend high-impact ancillary events.</li><li>Build strong working relationships with the Sales and CS teams based on trust and seamless lead handoff accountability.</li><li>Contribute to a calmer, more predictable, and better-organized marketing engine through meticulous project management.<br><br></li></ul>Requirements:<br><br><strong>Professional & Technical Background:<br><br></strong><ul><li>4+ years of experience in marketing, field marketing, or communications within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.</li><li>Proven track record of managing complex in-person and virtual events end-to-end (from micro-dinners to 10k+ attendee conferences).</li><li>Experience with data-driven marketing, specifically tracking event ROI and managing lead flow through CRM/Marketing Automation tools.</li><li>Ability to operate in a fast-paced, scaling environment where traveling to key markets is part of the growth strategy.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Personal Attributes & Mindset:<br><br></strong><ul><li>High ownership mentality — you are "detail-obsessed" and take full responsibility for the attendee experience.</li><li>Strong sense of structure — unmatched organization skills to manage overlapping deadlines and global logistics.</li><li>Comfortable with ambiguity — able to research a new region and recommend a vetted path forward for the brand.</li><li>Collaborative by nature — a thoughtful communicator who can influence internal stakeholders and external partners alike.</li><li>Strong bias towards action — you don't wait for permission to improve a process or test a new creative strategy.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Cares deeply about quality</strong> — you understand that every field event is a physical representation of the Port brand.<br><br><strong>Note: </strong>Employees are required to work from the office 3 days a week and 2 days from home. Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
