Electrical Systems Engineer

<strong>Your Next Career Move Starts Here!<br><br></strong><strong>The Role:</strong> Electrical Systems Engineer<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Wichita, Kansas<br><br><strong>Type:</strong> 24 month Contract<br><br><strong>What are your contributions to the team?<br><br></strong>This will include the development of system designs, aircraft modifications, and technical documentation such as:<br><br><ul><li>Technical Requirements Documents</li><li>System schematics</li><li>Supplier requirement documents</li><li>System descriptions</li><li>Interface control documents</li><li>Wiring diagrams</li><li>Certification plans to FAA, TCCA and EASA standards</li><li>Issue papers</li><li>Functional test requirements</li><li>Equipment qualification test plans and test reports</li><li>Aircraft-level test plans and test reports, and</li><li>Design compliance reports</li><li>Perform and/or support requirements management, validation, and verification activities.</li><li>Review installation drawings, qualification test data and reports.</li><li>Analyze ground and flight test data to verify system performance and functionality.</li><li>Support change management through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis, and implementation.</li><li>Support internal and external design reviews and program governance sessions.</li><li>Provide support for Technical Subcontract Management of system suppliers.</li><li>Show compliance to 14CFR Part 25 FAA, TCCA, and EASA certification requirements.<br><br></li></ul><strong>How to thrive in this role?<br><br></strong><ul><li>You will hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronics/Systems Engineering, or equivalent.</li><li>You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in systems engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Per US ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).</li><li>You will have experience or be familiar with ARP4754A for development of civil aircraft and Systems.</li><li>You will have a working knowledge of FAA, TCCA and EASA Part 25 certification requirements.</li><li>You will have a working knowledge of system safety processes.</li><li>You will be familiar with RTCA DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 standards.</li><li>You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).</li><li>Experience with AutoCAD is also preferred.</li><li>You must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>You will demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, management, and suppliers.</li><li>You will have experience with Commercial Derivative Military programs.</li><li>You must be self-motivated and be able to coordinate multiple activities and manage time effectively.<br><br></li></ul>Why Golden Technology?
