We are currently recruiting highly motivated individuals to expand its team and support its ambitious growth plans.</p><p>If you are a doer who enjoys working across industries and continents, autonomous in your working style, and eager to problem solve, we would love to hear from you.</p><h2>THE POSITION</h2><p>As a Data Test Engineer at RegASK, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our data infrastructure - spanning ETL pipelines, cloud-based data services, and business intelligence dashboards. This position requires a detail-oriented and technically strong engineer with hands-on experience in data validation, test automation, and modern cloud data stacks. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for data quality who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and takes ownership of testing end-to-end data flows.</p><p><strong>Title:</strong> Data Test Engineer</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design and execute test cases for ETL pipelines moving data into and out of MongoDB and Azure data services</li><li>Validate data accuracy, completeness, and transformation logic from source systems through to Power BI dashboards</li><li>Build and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and data layer testing</li><li>Write MongoDB aggregation queries and SQL to verify data integrity and reconciliation</li><li>Test Power BI reports and dashboards for data correctness, calculation logic, and refresh reliability</li><li>Validate Azure Data Factory pipelines, Azure Functions, and related data workflows</li><li>Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)</li><li>Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and product teams on test strategy</li><li>Identify, document, and track defects through resolution</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Hands-on experience with MongoDB: aggregation pipelines, indexing, query optimization</li><li>Working knowledge of Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage, or Databricks)</li><li>Experience testing Power BI reports - validating DAX measures, data models, and visualizations</li><li>Proficiency in at least one automation framework: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or PyTest</li><li>Programming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#</li><li>API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)</li><li>Strong SQL skills for cross-validation against relational sources</li></ul><h2>How to Apply</h2><p>If you are excited about this opportunity and believe you have the skills and qualifications to excel as our Data Test Engineer, please submit your resume for consideration.</p><p>We appreciate all applications, but only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.</p><p>Thank you for considering joining the RegASK team.
