Job Description & Requirements

This is a full-time role located in Malaysia. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial accounting, fund statement, and liaising with auditors. The role involves actively participating in the day-to-day financial operations of companies, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

A. Roles & Responsibilities

• Supporting accounting entries and financial statement preparation
• Ensure timely delivery of financial accounts and financial statements to clients
• Liaison with auditors to support annual fund audits
• Support related queries from clients

B. Requirements

• Strong knowledge of financial statements, fund accounting, financial reporting, NAV, and finance
• Experience in fund administration or accounting, preferably in the hedge fund or private equity industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, and minimum of 2 years’ experience in relevant field
• CPA, ACCA, or other relevant certification is an advantage
