<p><strong>Superintendent - Data Center & Commercial Interiors</strong></p><p><strong>Northern Virginia</strong></p><p><strong>Full-Time - Permenant Placement</strong></p><p><strong>Salary</strong>: $100K-$150K - $800/month car allowance</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Opportunity</strong></p><p>We are hiring for one of the premier residential/commercial construction firms in Northern Virginia wrapping up a data center project within the next two months and is anticipating two additional interior project awards.</p><p><br></p><p>We are actively hiring <strong>two Superintendents</strong> to support:</p><ul><li><strong>Data Center Whitespace Buildout</strong> (core/guts of the facility)</li><li><strong>Interior Commercial & Residential Projects</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>These Superintendents will organize, manage, and control assigned projects to ensure objectives of <strong>budget, quality, scheduling, and safety</strong> are achieved. This individual will oversee daily field operations, supervise subcontractors, manage site productivity, and coordinate closely with Project Management and Field Operations leadership. Crew sizes range from <strong>15–30 workers.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Shift Schedules</strong></p><p><strong>Data Center Project</strong></p><ul><li>5:30 AM – 2:30 PM EST</li></ul><p><strong>Interior Projects</strong></p><ul><li>8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM</li><li>Averaging ~50 hours/week</li><li>Occasional Saturdays and overtime expected</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage day-to-day jobsite operations and sequencing</li><li>Direct subcontractor workflow in alignment with project schedule</li><li>Maintain detailed daily logs and field documentation</li><li>Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance</li><li>Identify schedule risks and proactively mitigate delays</li><li>Coordinate inspections, permits, and closeout documentation</li><li>Communicate clearly with project stakeholders and leadership</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>3–8+ years of experience</strong> as a Superintendent in:</li><li>Residential</li><li>General Commercial (office buildings, schools, hospitals, etc.)</li><li>One role may focus strictly on interiors; the other may require broader exposure including MEP coordination</li><li>Strong understanding of plans, specifications, and constructability</li><li>Experience supervising crews of 15+ personnel</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Software Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Procore</li><li>Bluebeam</li><li>Microsoft Excel</li><li>MS Project</li><li><strong>Plus:</strong> Primavera</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Certifications</strong></p><ul><li>OSHA 10 (Required)</li><li>OSHA 30 (Preferred)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Steel-toe boots, safety vest, gloves</li><li>Ability to work occasional weekends and overtime</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong> (Soft Skills Matter Most)</p><ul><li>Reliable, punctual, and accountable</li><li>Self-starter who can make decisions without constant oversight</li><li>Strong communicator who provides clear and timely field updates</li><li>Calm and effective under pressure</li></ul>
