If you are dedicated and compassionate, <strong>WE WANT YOU! </strong></p> <p><strong>What Will You Do in This Role? </strong></p> <p>As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing all billing functions within our skilled nursing facilities, with a particular emphasis on Illinois Medicaid billing. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of all payer types and the ability to ensure accurate and timely billing processes. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to; billing operations, claims management, documentation and reporting, collaboration and communication, and regulatory compliance. </p> <p><strong>Do You Have What It Takes?</strong></p> <ul> <li>A fire and passion for working with seniors</li> <li>A flexible, fun, and energetic personality</li> <li>Must possess detailed knowledge of Illinois Medicaid regulations</li> <li>Must have prior experience with managing complex billing scenarios</li> <li>High school diploma, or equivalent, required</li> <li>Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred</li> <li>Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in billing in a LTC/SNF setting</li> <li>Managed care biller experience preferred</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of billing procedures for all payer types, including Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and others required</li> <li>Proficiency with billing software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems required</li> <li>Must be able to work well with others in a team environment</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required</li> <li>Professional image in both appearance and behavior</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why is Tutera THE Employer of Choice? </strong></p> <ul> <li>Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is guided by one single purpose: <strong>To live the YOUNITE philosophy in every decision, every day</strong>.
