<p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Account Director</strong> to lead a portfolio of client accounts, manage and mentor a team, and drive full-funnel Amazon and marketplace strategy for tier-one brands. This role owns client relationships end-to-end — from strategic planning to execution — while ensuring best-in-class delivery across media, creative, and retail initiatives.</p>
<p><strong>What You'll Do </strong></p>
<p><strong>Client portfolio ownership & strategic oversight</strong></p>
<ul><li>Own client success and portfolio revenue for a set of full-service clients, to whom we deliver media, merchandising, planning, and content services </li><li>Drive the Development of annual strategic roadmaps, growth plans, promotional calendars, and business reviews across all the clients in the portfolio, with a strong focus on profitability and scaling performance</li><li>Support the team in identifying growth opportunities, upsell initiatives, and ways to expand existing scopes of work</li><li>Advocate for the clients internally and ensure alignment on deadlines, ownership, and execution quality</li><li>Help brands innovate beyond foundational Amazon execution through channel expansion and creative testing</li></ul>
<p><strong>Team/People management</strong></p>
<ul><li>Lead a team of account managers (2-3): manage the teams cadence, ensure proper workload allocation, and oversee quality of the work</li><li>Mentor and coach Account Managers/Associates, while providing regular feedback to elevate performance and long term success</li><li>Own performance plans process and deliver performance reviews.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Day-to-day client management</strong></p>
<ul><li>Lead and manage directly a short-list of top-tier client accounts end-to-end across Amazon and marketplaces, owning strategy, execution, and performance</li><li>Serve as the primary client partner - lead conversations, present recommendations, and drive key business decisions with senior stakeholders including C-suite</li><li>Ensure flawless delivery across media, creative, retail, supply chain coordination, and marketplace operations</li><li>Build trust with clients through education, guidance, performance transparency, and proactive recommendations</li><li>Create decks, lead all client meetings, own call notes, action lists, and follow-through</li><li>Monitor account performance, review reporting regularly, and translate data into clear insights and next steps</li></ul>
<p><strong>Cross-team Operational efficiency </strong></p>
<ul><li>Work cross-functionally with media, retail, creative, and analytics teams to drive end-to-end success</li><li>Develop strong ties internally with all the delivery teams and foster a fast paced collaborative environment</li><li>Develop and implement best practices, SOP improvements, onboarding materials, and training resources</li><li>Contribute to thought leadership, internal education sessions, and new business pitches</li><li>Support the creation of case studies. </li><li>Stay current on Amazon programs, betas, algorithms, policy updates, and marketplace opportunities</li></ul>
<p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p>
<ul><li>7+ years experience in marketplace management with strong Amazon (1P/3P) and Walmart (1P/3P) expertise</li><li>Proven experience managing enterprise-level accounts and leading conversations at the executive level</li><li>Prior experience managing and developing a team with high standards for ownership and delivery</li><li>Strong presentation, communication, and client-facing confidence; comfortable leading calls and challenging constructively</li><li>Highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously</li><li>Strong analytical ability with comfort in Excel/Sheets, creating insights and translating them into strategy</li><li>Commercial mindset with the ability to identify revenue opportunities and influence decision-making</li><li>Growth-oriented, accountable, collaborative, and motivated to build strong long-term relationships</li></ul>
